I cannot see from the pinch weld view. It looks like they just sandwich on to the pinch weld. Instead of drilling into it. I would say the Raptor Frame Sliders are similar to the issues i had.
I stopped because i wish things done to my perfection as a Machinist.
I can also see the same issue I saw. the outer bracket is not close enough to pinch weld.
You can see how much the installer torqued the bolts. The outer tabs are bent in to make up that 1/8" gap.
This after market equipment i am having a lot of issues installing.
My Ranger XLT story.
Got the frame sliders mounted. Rocky road made the 6 fastener locations on the floor pan perfectly. To me an after thought on Pinch weld system. Welding fixture just needs to be tweeked to make the location of the drilled holes so they center in pinch weld.
Had a SoftTopper for 10 years. Truck stored in under ground.
Going with the fabric Fast-Top Canopy/ Tounne cover.
You talk about a generic fit. Trying to understand how to clamp the bed rails on to the plastic bed rail caps, is mind bending. There's no inventory list. Just expect you to wing it. Frustrating.
I looked at taking off the plastic bed rail cover. Holly Cow there is alot of holes under there.
A lot of work to seal the area.
I hopefully have figured this out. The clamps offered need to be longer. You can expect to have bolts stressed on an angle when mounted into the T nuts.
Figured if i took off the 3 push pins in a sunken area that the clamps may work. More clearance.
I read to use the longer bolts.
Going to try to mount the Slim Line bolt on roof rack. Have to drop the head linear.
I feel what i currently can get away with is a Trailer Hitch mounted T Bar and the roof rack for SUP's.
I thought that was interesting the cubic area of the 6G 5' bed is the same as the 4G 6' Bed.
Understanding how much camping gear with pleasure items i can bring.
I have all the camping gear. Can set the ladies up. I purchased a large rectangular bag for the roof rack. Figure just give it to the women and she can pack what she wants.
These accessories work your brain. Some of the add on's are very generic. Fittings multiple brands.
