Not lights but mounting. I have AMP research e-boards with LED lighting. Installer stuck the lights to the frame with sticky tape. One tape failed, light dangling by the wire. Thought about superglue, then what if I have to replace the LED? Solution was to scrape the tape off the LED, clean remaining glue off with Goo Gone, then put a self adhesive weatherproof Liftsun neodymium magnet on the LED. Sticks to the frame perfectly and you can adjust it. Magnets are 1" x 1/2" x 1/16". Two boxes of 24 is $23.99, from Amazon. Plan to replace all remaining sticky pads.

Couple options, if you go the adhesive mount, you really have to prep. Clean with DNA then use adhesive prep promoter (either the pads or a jar (6 oz’s (?) ) around $28 but it seems to last forever. Then use 3m tape. There are clips you can buy that have a foam adhesive pad, but the foam will fail pretty quickly. I removed the foam and used 3m tape directly to the plastic. Then you can secure your wires to the clip with a zip tie.
As mentioned, you can buy the magnets and attach them to whatever lights you want to use. Have to prep them the same way.
Third option is to check Lux Lighting, they have a whole array of lights that attach with really strong magnets. I go through a heavy duty car wash a couple times a week and they have never moved.
I have mine hardwired into my bed light system, which I turn on and off with a programmable remote on my keychain.
