oh, I thought hat went into the obd port, I didn’t know it went behind the glove box. I don’t have one.

I wasn’t sure where it went either

and I thought I would just open the glove box and thar she blows

i had to watch the install video to figure out where the to plug in the cable.

i have a couple of issues and have been talking with tiger tough

one is that the drivers seat bottom cover flap that goes under the seat doesn’t clear the seat I think tilt motor properly

there was also no front console cover

I’ve been told tiger tough is working to get a 2025 ranger lariat I to check the fit with timeframe tbd

also I though there would be a slit in thr back for the pockets but apparently you order pockets when they are made

so I am going to rerurn the front seat covers and wait

the fit is pretty good and I really like the rear cover Which does have an armrest cover but I didn’t have it on in this picture

you will have wrinkles but the material is nice and works well with heated seats

I would buy them again

I am considering these but they still don’t list the RR, can you comment - do they generate static when you slide in or out?

Did you get the bottom fit issue corrected to your satisfaction?

They don't seem to generate any static. Its a nice fabric.

Tiger Tough customer service has been fantastic. In my original order I didn't understand that there is no slit to accommodate existing backseat pockets and pockets most be ordered as a separate item. The good news is that the separate seat pocket is a bit wider and thicker than the ones in the seats.

Also, it didn't come with center console cover.

One day I got the center console cover and they sent me new seat covers with the pockets, no charge.

They never did fix the issue with the drivers seat and the motor underneath. I had to make a cut. I think they must not have had a ranger6g with 10 way electric seats as everything else is perfectly tailored. I did send some pictures.

I need to update my images as the passenger seat is perfect now with no wrinkles. There is so,e wrinkles in the drivers seat but the drivers setback fits very well. So while the fabric has little to no stretch, overtime it tends to conform to the seat and your body.

I think if they seamed the bottom cushion part to accommodate the side bolsters it would fit a bit cleaner. But that might not be as comfortable or as water resistant.

Overall I very happy with the seat covers. There is no padding so the heated seats stay nice and toasty and it is a very comfortable fabric that protects the seats.

I attached some updated photos. Overtime it conforms to the seat and most of the wrinkles come out but I don’t think it will every be completely wrinkle free.

Made some flexible covers for the stake pockets. These wedge in and should make them waterproof.

edit, added some spacers at the tail gate to perhaps reduce some of that water incursion and cover the end of the cover rail that seemed like it would get me some day. A lot going on in that corner so not easy to plug.

Printed a gas cap cover.

I think the door has a pretty good seal but since I have a keypad in the door and go to the beach I found I was getting sand inside.

red was recommended as a color for gas so not to confuse people and black too easy to lose.

note there is a little hole for a lanyard and a little hook for things built into the door plastic so it was designed to enable using a cap

the cap is keyed as there are four small protrusions next to four smaller protrusions spaced around the cap.

i wonder if a foreign market has a cap?

So I put this stuff on today, just the rear 3/4 and get the front on the next oil change.

not as messy as I imagined. Definitely get a spray gun with the tube attachments.

one sprays straight and the other straight and sideways for inside the boxed frame and other enclosed structural items.

the frame by the way appeared to already have some type of grease coating inside

smells like mink oil from the old break in the baseball glove days

stuff goes on a produces a mottled flat clear finish

i have this little undercarriage pressure washer attachment on wheels and I should have taken the spare tire off before pressure washing. Not a big deal.

Stupid question, but did you spray over the grease inside the frame?

Yes, I sprayed inside the frame. The spray gun has longer piece of tubing with an attachment nozzle that sprays in a 360 degree pattern.

The videos I've seen and my own experience would say that the lanolin will move around some

It's messy under the frame, you come away with some black hands any time you touch it. I guess that is the problem with a lanolin coating.

I don't deal with snow and salt but I do spend a lot of time parked at the ocean beach, even occasionally parked on the sand.

my experience is that you don't want a totally enclosed steel box as it will rust from the inside out and there is no way to service it or dry it out so I think the Swiss cheese is the way to go.

3d printed a new top and bottom insert for the center console.

bottom now holds a rechargeable flashlight and jump start battery that I can recharge from the 12v outlet in the console Bottom

also a provision for holding the blue tooth obd II doohickey

Installed my new S&B air filter. I had a look at my OEM air filter when I checked it and wasn't very impressed.

The S&B is not cheap but it is a much better built filter. I suspect it might benefit from cleaning at least every oil change
