I find search tools on forums to be lackluster at best. Usually if I'm on the hunt for something on a specific forum, I'll go to my search engine (google for me) and search there. Works much better in my opinion. So for example if you want to search this forum for transmission codes, you would type the following: site:ranger6g.com transmission codes

Here are the results on google:

site:ranger6g.com transmission codes

As you may see from the link, the google search brings up a lot of results specifically on Ranger6G. Performing a search for the same term using the forum search tool yielded 3 results. Obviously, the more specific you are on your search term, the more likely you are to find what you're looking for. Works for basically any forum and most search engines as far as I know.
