Seat heater problem

It seems that shutting off the truck does not cancel the seat heater, when you start the truck again the next day or whenever the seat heater is still on without turning turning it back on. I have had many trucks with seat heaters including a 22 and 23 Ranger and shutting the truck off cancels the heater and requires you to turn it back on when you want it, any thoughts?

well..it's written in the manual..
The heated seats may remain on after you remote start your vehicle, based on your remote start settings. The heated seats may also turn on when you start your vehicle if they were on when you switched your vehicle off.
