Right on. My dad was WW2 Pilot, dropping paratroopers in Africa, France, Belgium, landing on the beaches on D-Day, and picking up bodies. Then he flew in the Berlin Airlift to finish it off. My Mom was in WAC, so I learned respect for our military. Dad got shipped to Eielson AFB, and being an avid hunter from Llano, Texas, he thought he'd found paradise

We lived in Kaktovik (Dad was flying the DEW Line for Wien) 67-69, then started our own business, Air Taxi, Guiding, General Contracting and Lodging in Umiat in 1975.

So I'm familiar with Cape Lisburne Pretty much anywhere in Northern Alaska is as far away as you can get from civilization (besides Russia), especially pre-80s.

Thank you for your service, and once I get things squared away here, I plan on buying an RR to replace my '19 Ranger that burned to the ground.
