You added skid plates, but then grocery getter steps???
They are above the skid plates stowed. When retracted they are way higher than stock rigidly mounted running boards. Retracted, they are more like rock guards.

Besides, my wife who is barely 5 even likes to drive it instead of her CTS. I don't have to keep a step stool for her in the truck.

AND, they are free from collaboration with @RIVAL 4x4

So, there's that... lol

Without the mud flaps are you worried about gravel flying up? Have seen some other folks post some pretty gnarly looking bumpers as a result.

I had flaps on my 08 Taco, they were the first that got destroyed. They did not last.

This time, I might think about them again.

Next mod awaiting arrival:

When Ford Accessories had that 4th of July 25% off, I ordered this along with installation to be sent to Leif Johnson Ford in ATX.

4K Ultra HD Dashcam with rear facing camera bundle.
The dashcam was installed Monday. I like the 4K resolution videos. Still playing with set ups.

Aren't those located right where your exhaust tips go?
They should install inside the exhaust tips. There is no reference picture for 2024 RRaptor. I will post pictures after Trident installs them on 1 Aug.

Very cool...did those get hooked up to one of the accessory switches?
Thank you. Yes, Aux #6.

Next up would be Baja Designs Pro grill lights, and they will be turned on by Aux #1. I talked to the technician, if Aux #1 circuit (fuse and wire) will not carry the current draw, he will use the Aux #1 switch, but will run a different wire and fuse circuit.

2. Powered running boards, AMP Research installed by Trident Motorsports in ATX

5. ESI Ultimate Tailgate Seal, thanks to
vicb@extrudedsolutions.com
installed on the driveway

Can the running boards take the full weight of the truck when off-roading? Do they act as rock sliders when in the up position?

Does the dust seal work at keeping all the dust out? Have you tested it on dirt roads?

Have not done either one..

On the former the main reason for the installation is the convenience for my wife who is barely 5 ft even. The factory boards are just too high for her.

On the latter, probably the 1st opportunity to take it on dusty roads will be when I head out to SW CO. The dusty roads of the switchbacks in the San Juans would be a good test.

So far with heavy rains we had here recently, no water puddles were observed in the bed.
