Hi all,

just picked up a 24 RR with ~18,000 and some change with a Alucab installed and RPG perch collar kit. Coming from a gladiator but so far, the power and ride are amazing!!! The name Shr3k comes from the Jeep being Sarge Green, and also a small battle with the local tag office to let me have Shrek as a license plate, which they eventually allowed.

I originally went to test drive a TRD Pro Tacoma but they had this on the lot and took it for a drive and fell in love. If anyone knows the prior owner, long shot I know, but would love to know more about it.

The X package on the wranglers with the 35s should’ve been offered on the gladiators. Not sure why even with the X now on the Mojave’s and Rubis it’s still 33s. Anyway, good looking color on that RR

going to keep this as a running tally for myself of things done.

from what I could tell, driving at night, the prior owner didn’t do the suspension recalibration, I was getting flashed left and right on a short drive.

ordered the Bluetooth obd mx+ and ran the calibration via Forscan Lite. Saw the headlights adjust down immediately. Took it for a short spin and it seems to ride much nicer, which is wild as I already thought it was nice.

Installed a few AAL parts, namely the SAM and their A pillar light brackets. Unfortunately only shot I have is next to dad’s Carli f250 but should suffice for record keeping purposes. I also did the amber/orange DRLS. I went with an Amazon version, and figured if they failed, I’ve at least done the job once which should make the 2nd time easier. So far so good.
Had to get a little video of my dads f250 on a Carli Lift with 35s

I’m impressed, to say the least. Prior to the Ranger Raptor, I had a gladiator rubicon, and before that, a 2 door rubicon on 37s, I know Georgia trails aren’t crazy, but that’s my baseline.

I took the Ranger on a little loop this morning that the gladiator did a few months back. Even with the Gladiator’s sway bar disconnect, the Ranger did everything it did and was more comfortable doing it. Didn’t use lockers at all but would have benefitted from a trailer plug relocation kit.

My only gripe is side visibility is a small challenge spotting the wheel solo. Other than that, I’m in love with the new truck

Got the Tackform mounted, super solid and impressed so far. Opted for the MagSafe cooled charger for the iPhone, and then the metal iPad mount. Not loving the fact the iPad blocks the tops right (really unusable) space of the Headunit. I’ll either grab a longer arm (more leverage so it’ll shake more) or move it down to the AAL sidekick mount and call it a day.

Up top will go the iPhone, Garmin InReach, and potentially some form of comms handheld unit. AAL will likely hold the IPad, and another phone mount for any passengers.
