Recently got Travel Trailer and towed it twice so far. I was wondering what settings everyone is using and what do you have your brake controller set at?

I have a 24 ft jayco around 4700 lbs. empty. I have my brake controller set at 7.5, but honestly I can't tell the difference if I adjust it up or down.

Depends on trailer and load. Whenever you tow something new and/or have more load than usual, always good to do a test in a parking lot. Adjust gain until you feel trailer stopping itself. I pulled my trailer back unloaded and felt brakes grabbing too hard. Adjusted from 5 (when loaded for camping) to 3.5, and it was perfect.
