I've tried in vain with Ford CS on the phone and Chat, they have no access to the Rail Car # or info the Dealer has on the VIN/View system, ''They (the Dealer) can see it we can't''.
Two emails to the salesman then a phone call got me a screen shot from his VIN/View which was a marked starting point (the plant) and a blue scribed line along the path of the tracks up to Vermillion OH along the banks of Lake Erie, (seems beautiful)

The discussion with the salesman says he sees no rail car # on his end and no letters representing CSX (TTGX followed by a series of #'s). I didn't see them either on the screenshots.
The other screenshot was a page with relevant info i.e. my order #, VIN, from to, vehicle description, etc., etc. While both images are nice there really not current on a daily basis unless he sends new ones every day until it arrives, i wouldn't even ask or expect him to do that.
So just a FYI for those wanting to follow there order on the train it appears it may not be possible.
Anyone who may know an alternative way or experience tracking, post up your method.
