I got tint installed yesterday and today I went to start my ditch light install but I need to get some shorter bolts as there is only about 1.5mm between the base of the bolt and the hood...

Took it on its first long trip. I was surprised with the gas mileage especially considering it was mountain driving and a short bit of 4wd off-road. I kept it in eco mode the entire time except for the 4wd portion (3.5 miles out and back). Consistently drove 5 to 10mph over the speed limit. The 4wd trail was a bit narrower than I expected, but I think I avoided any Colorado pinstripes. Trip computer said 26.6, but I believe that is a bit generous. My hand calculated mpg for the first fill up was 24.55 when the trip computer read 25.2, so I think I probably averaged 25!! Will find out when I top it off again. Things I learned on the drive: the 2.7 is a joy to drive in the mountains, I really like adaptive cruise control, I love having a tonneau cover and the miles to empty number is worthless.

EDIT: top off calculation came out to 27 mpg for last leg of trip. So, the average for trip was 25.36 (hand calc) vs 26.6 (trip computer). Oh, and I am using 91 octane which is premium in Colorado, not sure if that helps at all.

Washed all the bugs off from the 350 mile rounds trip friday night/saturday morning. Now she is back to beautiful, minus a scratch someone put in the driver rear door about 8 inches below the handle. Its a good 3 inches long and parts are to the metal so i need to find something to fill it in with to make sure nothing rusts

OK, just finished off an inaugural 700 mile trip up to Yosemite and I can't be any happier with my XLT Ranger. Coming off of 11 years in a 2014 Wrangler JKU, the ride and handling is night and day. My wife and I were super comfortable and digging that new truck scene. Throwing the cruiser bikes into the back and not on a tailgate or spare tire mounted rack was a joy.
Can't wait for first off-road excursion the first of August.

Since I got it at the beginning of July, here are some of the things I've done:
- Installed plaid seat covers from CalTrend. I love an old-school vibe and these covers tick all the boxes. Plus, I'm notoriously hard on seats so covers were a must and I just couldn't do neoprene.
- WeatherTech Impact bedliner
- Ford OE tailgate liner
- Ford OE bed extender
- McGyvered bike rack for my road bike, borrowed from @lifeline https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/thre...options-share-your-pictures.13437/post-219096
- Carhartt seat back organizer
- Center console organizer
- K&N Filter because I put one on every vehicle I own, four wheels or two.
- Redline hood lifts
- Amber front grille lights
- Start/stop eliminator
- threshold protectors
- 3W Liners floor mats
- 3D printed dash mount (from Amazon) with Rokform magnetic phone mount
- Stubby antena

Next up:
- Picked up five take-off Bronco steelies with Grabber ATs with about 20 miles on them. Getting them mounted up this week with a 2.5 level kit.
- Ordered center caps with Ford logo as running the Bronco logo seems lame.

Thanks as have been curious about the gas mileage of the 2.7 engine. I had a 2.7 in an F150 4x4 and it always got great gas mileage, rarely under 20 mpg and often 24 mpg on highway trips. I recently traded a 2024 Ranger 2.3 4x4 for a 2025 Ranger 2.3 4x4 and while I was disappointed with the gas mileage of the 2024 (20-21 mpg), the 2025 with the newer 2.3 MPC engine seems to be getting better gas mileage (right at 24 mpg ).

Installed the leveling kit saturday and got her aligned. Suspension work on this truck is even easier than on the wranglers we have here at the house.

I didn't take lots of pictures because it went so easily and quickly.

Added a Ford Branded Lund nose shield/deflector. Yes, it’s tape on 3M but very secure.

Ford Accessory Hitch Cap. Need a locking pin though.

Drop in bed liner tomorrow!

Also a Carven Speed stubby antenna. ???

I'm new here, but an FYI. I had one on my Colorado Trail Boss that I traded for the Ranger. After about 10 months I decided to have some wrap accents put on the hood and removed the deflector. In that time dirt got under it and with the vibrations, the dirt scratched the paint. I covered it with some wrap accents and some PPF. It will damage your paint, not knocking it, just stating what happened to me.
