Help a Ranger neophyte out. Can anyone let me know if the following would fit a stock 2024 Ranger XLT. After that, can anyone point me to a good resource for better understanding how wheel sizes work.
Looking at adding these:
Selling a take off set of wheels for a 2021-2025 Ford Bronco.
The wheel came off a Black Dimond trim.
5 Wheels and 4 Center caps
LT265/70R17 General Graber AT Tires.
17X7.5 Wheels +55 Offset
6X139.7mm / 6x5.5 Lug pattern

Those will fit no question. It’s the exact same offset and almost the same size as stock. In my opinion you aren’t really gaining much with that setup vs what you got stock.

265 is the width of the tire tread. 70 is the ratio of sidewall to tread width (70%). 17 is the rim diameter. Stock is 255/70/17, so these tires are barely any bigger.

You need to consider the tire dimensions as well as offset, but 275/70/17 still fits with pretty aggressive offset (I run it with +25) and 285/70/17 supposedly fits with stock offset. Supposedly some even fit bigger.
