i highly doubt the +6 will allow for your tires to clear the fenders without serious modifications including at least a 2" lift and trimming, never mind going to the -6. The clearing of suspension is a whole other conversation. For a '26 XLT V6. Looking to put 17x8.5 Fuel Anza wheels with a 275/70-17 Falken Wildpeak. Anyone know if the +6mm offset will clear the suspension components or would I need to go to the -6mm offset?
I only know of a guy that's running 0 offset with 285/70/17 and he had to remove the crash bars even with a 2" lift. I imagine it'll be VERY close at best with the +6 and I cant imagine it works at all with the -6.I'm planning on eibach pro truck stage 2 level/lift kit. Would that still require trimming? Thanks for your input, I just went from an F-150 to the ranger and don't know much about it.
Think of it this way, at a +6 vs a +25 you're pushing that wheel out another almost 3/4" and that drastically changes the pivot point.I'm planning on eibach pro truck stage 2 level/lift kit. I agree here. Wasn't gonna totally dash his hopes...lol.Those offsets will stick out 4 to 5 inches more than stock - not gonna work.
(NEVER accept an online wheel store stating a wheel is a good fit for a particular vehicle especially trucks. All they look at is bolt pattern, never whether the offset is reasonable.
Find a wheel and tire size comparison tool and use that plus your own tape measure.
Also be aware of the swing when turning lock to lock.
First one I found, there are better ones...

Tons of threads on this forum with wheel & tire combos listed that fit, usually with pictures.
Anytime! Everyone here is super helpful. Grab a +35 or +25 offset wheel with that tire size and the 2" lift. You'll be set! Thanks everyone for your input . Much appreciated.
On your +30s, do you have any rubbing at full lock or compression? As many have said I doubt the +6 would work. Pretty much sure the -6 would not work.
Max offset I would ever consider is a +25.
I am running a +30 now which fit fine and I would say + 35 would be even better or the perfect offset IMO.
No, not with the stock 285/70R17 tires. On your +30s, do you have any rubbing at full lock or compression?
I'm about to pull the trigger on the new FOX 2.0 coilovers and a set of Bronco Sasquatch take offs. They are +30 and I'm thinking of just changing out the crash bars anyway to the aftermarket modified ones.
Thanks for the info.25 Lariat here with Eibach Pro_truck Lift Stage 2 Coilver setup.
2.5inch lift in front running 285/60R18 Fuel Rincon 18x9 rims with -12mm Offset and I barely rub exept when in reverse and full lock right side. The rub s ever so slite, nothing cut cut out.
I'm about to run a similar set up. Did you get new upper control arms as well? or just stick with the stock UCA?25 Lariat here with Eibach Pro_truck Lift Stage 2 Coilver setup.
