Gents, In need of assistance on this one. I'm looking to add a backrack/toolbox combo to my newly purchased 2024 Ranger XLT. I called the folks at Realtruck and was told that they do not have an ETA on a 6G specific model. So where I am currently is:
My first assumption is I do not need bed reinforcement as my truck was built in 11/24 and everything after early September 2024 has the bed stiffeners installed at the factory. I believe I ran through a thread here that covered that issue.
It appears that the mount for the Ranger 19-23 does not use a bolt through the bed rail. It looks like a channel with a plate/washer configuration (see below for a snip from the 19-23 install manual). If this is the case are the bed rails from 5G to 6G significantly different in dimension? I have scrolled through a number of posts and have found every other dimension besides the width and thickness of the bedrails on the 5G. My assumption is that if there are no significant differences the hardware for the older gen Ranger should fit.
