I was looking for running boards for my Lariat and after much research on various sites I decided that I liked the Go Rhino RB20 Slim’s. I called Realtruck instead of ordering online because someone said they got a $30 discount by just asking - I asked and received with free S&H. The sales rep explained that the boards are fairly universal for all these intermediate size trucks; it's the brackets that have to be custom fitted. He said he had 15 pairs of brackets that were in stock and the boards were also available. The boards and braces arrived 2 day later and I just put them on and they are perfect. Note – if a 66-year-old can get down on his back using a packing blanket as a buffer to get this job completed then anyone with a 17mm and a 13mm socket wrench and small extension can do it themselves as well. The only head scratcher is in the package they send you has an extra set of nuts and bolts that have no useful application here. The other thing is they don’t tell you which way to face the front bracket as far as the lip that is on them so I just faced the lip toward the front wheel and it seems to be fine. Probably got this wrong and it is supposed to face towards the back. If that’s the case it is no problem loosening up the front brackets and swapping them. The rest of the brackets don’t seem to matter which direction they face. Really happy with the end result.
