Anticipation! Touring MAP Plant this week

I was going to fly up and tour the MAP plant this week (I have some connections within the plant) but I couldn’t determine ahead of time which day/time my truck was going to be on the assembly line/finished. My connections aren’t THAT good…LOL

I am looking forward to seeing my Azure Gray Ranger Raptor being shown as “built” in a couple of days.

Then I have to endure the wait for shipping.

Hopefully they have a pretty clear shipping docket after the plant being down for the past few weeks.

Awesome….man I’m excited for my truck as well and can’t wait to hear people’s thoughts on them!

Wow congrats. I ordered pretty much the same thing, put a deposit down the day of announcement, and was at my dealer at 7AM the day order banks opened, and still have no emails or build date. Probably because my stupid dealer put my order in as a priority 20 stock order instead of retail like it should have been, and they wouldn’t accommodate me and change mine to retail either. Still good to see that the azure paint isn’t what’s delaying mine, just incompetence. This has been a good lesson in that the early bird doesn’t always get the worm lol.

I just hope the don't sit forever after being built. Still no reviews on them so that worries me that once they are built that they might sit till they release reviews.

There's no way they'd hold up people's orders over that. The reviews are for people not yet considering the Ranger, not for people who already ordered one.

But they can hold them for a lot of other things. Ask the Explorer guys that had them sitting in a parking lot for nine months for cameras. Fingers crossed it goes well though

Tell the assembly line workers to giddy up and get these Rangers built.

It takes ~12hrs start to finish for a vehicle build and they're running 2 shifts. So actually seeing your truck built would be challenging.

Don’t think they’ll start shipping '24 Rangers until sometime after mid-February.
