I’ve come across these. Certainly not inexpensive but kind of cool.Interested in something similar. Link?
Me me me!! Sept 25thAnyone get a raptor scheduled yet?
If you do not like them when the truck arrives take them off and sell them there is always some else who will.Just got a call from the dealership, they said since I had the FX4 package but no running boards, Ford told them I had to either add running boards ($700 upcharge) or remove FX4 before I could get scheduled
Scole31, on the first RR scheduling, I believe I read some trickeled in throughout the day and even (I think) into Friday. Other then that, check scheduling every Thursday.Does anyone know what is expected if you don’t get scheduled today? Is it something I need to look for in my inbox throughout the week or does it only happen today?
I think scheduling is on Thursday's so potentially the next week and so on.Does anyone know what is expected if you don’t get scheduled today? Is it something I need to look for in my inbox throughout the week or does it only happen today?
That dealer probably just had allocation. I have a small dealer, and they didn't get any allocation for Rangers yet. I believe allocation is prioritized based off sales for that specific vehicle line.THAT is the million dollar question! I just came back from a nieghbors that I have been talking to over the last few weeks as we both want a Ranger. Surprisingly, he had five exact orders placed with five different dealers for an XLT. He did get scheduled today by one dealer. The other four, nothing. I looked over his order/build sheets. All priority 10, and the orders/options are exact. I did not pay that much attention, but I think he told me they are all within a 75 mile radius. The only thing I can think of the dealer he got scheduled through was the largest. Other than that, no clue.
yeah that's the plan unless my wife decides she needs them. i was just unsure how well they would re-sell and how much less i'd get for them compared to the $700 they cost.If you do not like them when the truck arrives take them off and sell them there is always some else who will.
I'm not sure how it would be incorrect information when Ford specifically emailed them about it, and my order wasn't scheduled while that configuration was in place. The B&P doesn't enforce it, but that could be an oversight or a recent change to the configuration that hasn't been pushed up to production yet.Is it possible this is incorrect information? I just ran a Lariat FX4 B&P it did not "require" running boards to be added. If that were the case should not one of the running board boxes also automaticallly fill? I got a standard 4x4, so, as usual, I could be wrong.
Then why would they bother emailing the dealership and saying I need to either drop the FX4 or add the running boards? If they were only scheduling those, they likely wouldn't bother emailing the dealership and just push my order out to a later date.Maybe that is what is being scheduled FX4 with boards????
It does not mean required for FX4 package.
