I covered it in another thread, but it isn't the right truck from me and I confirmed that to myself last weekend hunting sheep in the desert. My 2019 FX4 was so awesome in the sand that I know I don't need the Raptor.

I'm looking for a trail rig (not a Baja truck) that can carry a full payload and tow a small trailer. The reduced payload/towing and fuel economy are negatives that don't outweigh the benefit of a front locker... which is about the only attribute of a Raptor that I'd actually want. (And I'm not sure I even need the front locker with the Trail Control)

The Baja suspension on the Raptor is cool for Baja, but too soft for my use and a Tremor will almost certainly have the drive modes I want.

I am better to get a Tremor with a 2.7L and add aftermarket equipment specifically designed for my use.

The Raptor has the "cool" factor, no doubt, but that's not enough to sway me over the negatives of it's other attributes.
Sounds like you made the right choice. The reduced trailer towing capacity of the Raptor bugs me a bit. I might follow suit. Thanks.

There will not be a Tremor package in 2024

Never got notification from Ford. The dealer saw it previewing yesterday , assigned a VIN and scheduled today in their system.
That’s great, hopefully they start moving along with these trucks

Given that assigned build dates have held firm since the strike ended, more people are getting scheduled as of today and the first assigned builds are less than a month away (1/8), I'd say we are on a pretty optimistic path forward into january.

I didn't receive an email, but I did reach out to my dealer.

I got my VIN and a build date of 2/12/2024. I then called into Ford to confirm and make sure. The rep said that it was pulled for scheduling today. So I guess it's still possible for me to receive an email from Ford.

Yay! Good luck to the rest that are looking for scheduling.

I used Ford chat and they informed me that I was scheduled for the week of 2/26 and provided my VIN. I have not yet received an email.

Mine is scheduled for 02/05 and I have a VIN. Small dealer in West Michigan. No Email from Ford just got the info from my dealer.
Did you get an email when you first put in your order? My dealer double checked my email address because they said if they didn't have it right, they couldn't fix it later. I had the email confirming my order before I left the dealer that day.

I did get an Email when I first ordered but nothing since. Not even a hang in there. Literally nothing since I ordered it. It is a retail order and not dealer stock.

Lucky that some of you guys have a build date. My dealer has no info. Maybe Canadian rangers will have later build dates.
