What takes my interest is under Bronco, the BRaptor is not available for retail ordering.

The Bronco line has been out for some time now. 2 years now?

Those of you "waiting for a RRaptor" in the retail system best take note. This is giving you some insight...

With so much choice in the midsize segment now and in the coming year I'm honestly content that I'm kicking back just a bit longer before any commitments.

The Bronco Raptor hasn't been available for retail order for almost 2 months now.

While parts supply chain issues still annoyingly linger the main reason is more than likely that they have enough or more than enough orders to round out the '23 M.Y production and shut it down to keep from continuously adding to the pile of orders. (something they should've done to the Bronco in general back in 2020)

The Ranger Raptor will more than likely encounter the same situation once the first 3000-ish are done, on the road and getting attention from consumers not on the forums like us. We have no clue of the allocation formula, but I'd wager those that are fairly far down the waiting list may be lucky to see on by 2025 at the earliest.

I'm in a decent position to see one in 2024, but it also comes down to the Dealership, the allocation/s they receive and if they try to pull anything due to situations that arise.

IMO, the economy in general will be a deciding factor and fluid situation for many potential buyers. We keep hearing dire predictions about this massive recession that has failed to materialize in a normal manner. Will it ever or just be a constant damper on things?

Also all the data on people averaging $700-1000 monthly car payments is crazy and unsustainable for most buyers. Many are upside down already and more are 1 significant financial event away from default.

If it goes south, so does the market for purchase of high priced specialty vehicles for many of us potential buyers. Exclusive of people who can afford expensive EVs and trophy vehicles regardless of economy.

YMMV

Amen, the idea that we've all been conditioned to the lack of economic stability in this world is by design. The fear porn never ends.

I was content to wait for my 6g Lariat, ordered the day the order banks opened… until I started seriously looking at the GMC.

I ended up ordering a Canyon Denali yesterday and have a build date of 7/17. Just too many upgrades over the Ranger that were important to me (rear air, vented seats, 310 hp & 430 lb-ft tq standard, and more). The midsize segment has a lot of nice options these days!

On the scheduling notes for the Ranger, does it say "Remove DIO spare tire lock option from Ranger Raptor Stock orders, they are no longer available for 24MY" as in, the spare tire lock option is no longer available for Raptors on 24MY. OR does the note actually mean "Stock orders are no longer available for 24MY."

I just watched Long McArthurs new vid and he said theres 1800 orders now in the bank. But he made it seem like it says no more stock orders for 24MY which kind of makes no sense to me.

Wait till you see the vin pop and its stuck in Production. Mustangs are now on hold for delivery due to "Ok to sell" not ready due to quality issues. Ford CEO has said they will not allow poor build quality to continue to get out. Ford has a hard stance trying to fix these issues.

Well I guess this is better than getting delayed and seeing no reason at all.

you mean OKTB? That's a necessary hurdle I've thrown out a few times when people ask how many months it should take to arrive after they order. Seems to be overlooked by some people. Also, they need to have their MPG numbers to go on Monroney window sticker, which means EPA has to complete their process too. I survived the Maverick roll out and there were both of those delays and more. Stop ships for recalls, quality issues, etc. That's even before the transportation issues kicked in.

Yep 100%. Many of us have tried to make everyone aware. Some hurdles to cross before they can be sold to the public.
