Putting on a big show for the media is part of the job. Doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t make concessions. Both sides will certainly make concessions.It's not a given but the list of demands the UAW have makes me think it's inevitable. I don't see Ford giving them all of that and the guy doing the negotiations doesn't seem to be into making concessions.
Maybe UAW are just talking big and will crack, but they seem pretty adamant on their list. We'll see.

Typically they vote on willingness to strike regardless of a deal being brokered. I think they have a deadline of the 24th to return that, while they are still negotiating.Everything is voted on.
