How do you know this? And what is zone 1 and 2?
Can you be more specific on what "this" is. And zone one is anywhere around Detroit, and zone 2 is anywhere around Detroit that is not Detroit or Detroit adjacent Michigan (northern michigan, north eastern indiana, northwest ohio)

Yeah sorry about that, I was wondering about the strike.

Seems to this would make them want to strike more to lock up what they can.

That is not how it works anymore, companies can see the economic restrictions human errors put onto their product lines, especially ford, who has had nothing but recalls and quality complaints these last several years. It's expensive, and the way to fix it is automation. Ford knows this, and it is only now getting much more economically feasible to do so, especially with UAWs demanding such sky high wages, it makes writing equipment off as operating cost instead of capital expense all that much easier. As a country, we aren't ready for the incredible amount of automation in the pipeline, either at a supply chain or technical level. We don't have the trades to support it. But it will be necessary by 2030. China is gearing up significantly to become the world's largest automation supplier, and America is behind, having mostly shops of under 100 people design and construct most of the automated equipment operating in tier 1 and tier 2 facilities today.

Someone posted this before, but if you want one, you'll get one. There's basically no demand in the U.S. for them. Yes, its going to be painfully slow getting them in the beginning, but they will be available eventually.
What are you talking about? I called every dealer in my state they all have a waitlist with dozens of people, despite all charge ADM. One even refused me on the waitlist because “there is no point anymore as our current waitlist will cover allocations for years”.

Yeah thats because the vehicle literally just got announced 2 months ago, and only 3000 are being made this year supposedly. The current Ranger order bank only has 3000 orders in it. Basically people either want a Raptor or waiting for the 2.7L. But what is clear is the demand for Rangers is not the same as the Bronco or Maverick.

oh if you are talking about the regular ranger then yeah. I thought you were talking about the raptor. I want a raptor at MSRP and so far it seems mission impossible. I thought the riches who can afford 15K adm might as well buy a F150 RAptor or Raptor R, but no, sounds like they want ranger raptors as well and are ready to throw money at it.

My dealer hasn't sold their Raptor yet but their isn't as high of a demand for them around here. Their only one ordered is mine.

My experience as well. They want markup on the first one and are using it as stock since, at least to my latest knowledge, it hasn’t been sold yet.

Same here. I just ordered 2 weeks ago and nobody had ordered one. To be honest I didn't even know they were a thing. The marketing on them seem to be lackluster. No real journalists doing a full review yet either and here we are a month before some people are already scheduled

Yeah this is what I wanted to say to the person who couldn't find one near him. Demand is going to be very geographically dependent. I think near large cities, where there are more dealers in a concentrated area, you will see far less demand. On the other side, if you live in a rural area, where there's only 1 dealer within 200 miles, and tons of off-roading trails, the demand will be sky high. But overall, it's clear that the demand in general for a Ranger (including the Raptor) is going to be far less in the U.S. than in other markets. Obviously, it doesn't seem like it now, because there is a bottle neck for the first units, but as others mentioned, if you really want one, you just have to wait it out and you'll be able to get one.

I found the opposite to be true. All the dealers in the city had a list of at least 5 customers on it for the Ranger Raptor.. and when I went out of state to a rural area where people don't have much money - nobody had called about theirs yet. But of course that was a while ago.

For what it’s worth:

I reached out to customer service yesterday, as my dealer said the order hadn’t been scheduled yet. Customer service provided me with a VIN and build date for the week of October 2nd. I plugged the VIN into Ford’s vehicle order tracker site, and it shows the order confirmed but no build week scheduled. So I’m wondering if internally they’re a bit ahead of what’s being sent out…
You reached out to Customer service at the dealer of corporate, if corporate at what number

I used their online support chat. Here’s the link then click on chat. It’ll take a second to populate the chat button.

They’ll need your order number and sales code.
