I chatted with Ford yesterday & below is what was said, we’ll see if any of it is true or not!!

“Thank you for your patience, Paul. I show your order status on your Ranger is In Order Processing. This means your order is successfully inputted into our system, this order is currently being worked on and will be scheduled in the next available production week. I recommend bookmarking this website https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking and once you have your VIN you can track your vehicle.“

That's the same copy-paste response I got yesterday. At first I thought they were saying my truck would be scheduled next week but I no longer think that's the case. I believe its just a generic response to say that they have no idea when you'll be scheduled.

Well, that sucks & very misleading if that is in fact the truth!!

I received the email a couple of weeks ago for a 9/18 build week. I clickon on this link https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking today and there is no build date when I enter my VIN. Anyone else seeing this?

same for me, I was told on here that it won't update till closer to the build date.

I never got an email, but by using Ford Chat, I was able to find my ranger is scheduled 9-25. They also gave me my VIN so I can track it, although it looks like the tracker is not updated for now.

It's kind of odd that half the Ford lineup is not scheduling this week.

They wouldn't schedule assuming a strike, they will schedule assuming everything is normal and then just have a delay if there is a strike.

I did receive a 45 Day update from Ford- we are sorry but supply chain issues continue to impact production. But we will continue to keep you up to date we promise every 45 days.. So I guess they got my order ... and I wait

Weekly reminder to just be patient, everyone will get their trucks. I'm in the same boat as most of you, but my dealer has been reaching out to say they haven't heard anything. Our trucks will come. A strike is unlikely once the UAW realizes they don't really have ground to stand on with the wave of automation coming in the next 10 years, and striking would simply incentivize ford to automate faster.

This is a temporary problem. We will all get our trucks. I would be willing to put money on everyone who preordered a raptor will have their build date before christmas and it will be a 2024. Ford wants the premier trim on the road.

Also, the longer we wait, the less likely there are to be off tool quality errors that further delay deliveries. Ford has a tendancy of doing very thorough quality inspections on batch 1 with many rejects and reruns. Especially with Farley's directive and the Bronco fiasco, don't be surprised if batch #1 takes until november to actually start getting delivered to zone 1 & zone 2.

How do you know this? And what is zone 1 and 2?

i just tried this. They told me the factory has received my order, but has not been scheduled. Not sure what the difference is
