So does anyone know why the production is still so slow on the rangers? I'm guessing there is holiday shutdown for a couple weeks which will slow it down a bit. But is there is parts shortage? Are they still building out the last 2023 models? Broncos taking priority? Etc. I thought production was back to full schedule.

Mine is showing in my dealers preview this morning for week of 02/05. I ordered back in May when the banks first opened. Smaller dealer in West Michigan.
Is there anyone out there with a green "in production" dot yet?

The launch was delayed because of the 6 week strike. When the plant came back on line they had some production issues with the facility. My brother works at the plant and Rangers have started to trickle through the system. I suspect the first units will be picked over for quality as Ford has recently done with Mustang, Escape and Super Duty.

There has not been any 2023 Rangers built since before the strike.

I guess most of the lucky ones should hear by Thursday if we get scheduled.

The way I read it is Scheduling customer orders non-Raptor and customer and stock orders for Raptor
For February.
Agree. A little confusing as stated in their notes. Thanks.

My dealer told me last night my Raptor got scheduled and I will get my email today or tomorrow. I told him to give it to somebody else. I'm waiting for a Tremor with the 2.7L.

I’m Just wondering why would you order, wait all this time and then when you’re about to get scheduled, just give it away?
Makes me wonder just how many folks will not accept their orders and walk away completely. While there’s folks out here begging for a allocation..

I covered it in another thread, but it isn't the right truck from me and I confirmed that to myself last weekend hunting sheep in the desert. My 2019 FX4 was so awesome in the sand that I know I don't need the Raptor.

I'm looking for a trail rig (not a Baja truck) that can carry a full payload and tow a small trailer. The reduced payload/towing and fuel economy are negatives that don't outweigh the benefit of a front locker... which is about the only attribute of a Raptor that I'd actually want. (And I'm not sure I even need the front locker with the Trail Control)

The Baja suspension on the Raptor is cool for Baja, but too soft for my use and a Tremor will almost certainly have the drive modes I want.

I am better to get a Tremor with a 2.7L and add aftermarket equipment specifically designed for my use.

The Raptor has the "cool" factor, no doubt, but that's not enough to sway me over the negatives of it's other attributes.
