I got "into produciton" on 6/6/2024 (scheduled for production 6/10/2024). I am still in production, is this typical? Last time I ordered a ford vehicle, the truck was in production for 3 days and showed up at the dealership before it was moved to"built" on the tracker.

I do understand there are some people that have been in production since January, but I am assuming that is not typical because people are getting their trucks produced.

I have a Ranger Raptor on order, with beadlock wheels and the securicode pad. No SIBL
Mine started 6/3 and still in production. Called ford the other day and they said it was scheduled to ship to dealer between the 13-19th. My dealer checked and it's in QC hold. Next couple of days and we'll see I suppose. Bead locks and the spray-in.

It appears to me that some of the QC holds never really come off of them. My truck was produced on 5/11, is confirmed to have been built, and has been on a hold since 5/13 with no updates and the ETA of June 2-8 come and gone, still "in production.'' All the while many trucks have been built, shipped and delivered from my build date on. I'm starting to look at stock options as close to my order as I can match.

My second allocation order with an out of state dealer was successful as my local dealer did not get a 2nd allocation so that order will never be filled.

Order placed: 2/13/2024
Scheduled build date of 4/8/2024, that date came 2 months prior in late Feb.
Went to 'In Production' status a week prior to scheduled build date, on about 4/2/2024.
Blend date: 4/9/2024
Built: 6/4/2020. Stayed at the 'In Production' status for two months.
Shipped: 6/11/2024
Final Prep: 6/11/2024 even though the dealer did not get it until 6/14/2024
Picking up truck: 6/21/2024 Having dealer put the J-Braces on.

So as some mentioned there is no set discernable schedule. Typically, and as of late, the move to 'In Production' status is pretty routine now. Was not the case until March or so. And once the status moves to 'Built', you will get your truck in a reasonable time frame. Not always, especially if by rail, it could get stuck in a rail yard somewhere. But at least you can track it.

The big unknown is the 'In Production' status. Your truck can sit there for a day, a week, or months. Depends on parts, QC, ...... Ford is not forthcoming with why a particular truck is not moving out of the 'In Production' status, it just is what it is.

So for me, from order to taking delivery, just over 4 months.

Hope yours will go a little quicker!!

I was given the window for ship dates so I suppose I won't speculate until those pass and it doesn't ship. I have another in production, same build so there's that one too.

I looked up the window stickers so they are available......at ramp and traveling convoy it shows. Both of them are headed to Virginia.

I ordered 8/30/23, it's been stuck in production since 1/23/24. I get an email every month or two that says it's still being built. XLT being delivered to Pennsylvania. It sounds like there are others in the same situation, and others that have ordered and taken delivery much quicker, but not sure if they're on the east coast.

Once mine shipped, it took about a week to make it to the dealer in Ashland, VA

I think Quality hold means the truck went to the car crusher, never to be seen again. So tired of all waiting, and I'm with you on seeing all the trucks built shipped and delivered. I saw an exact truck except for the color come to my dealer that had a blend date of 4 days prior to mine, and it delivered last Monday, but mine is in "in production" purgatory since 5/16. Been on the phone with marketing to only hear them say it's in a quality hold. So today I found one in inventory with almost all the options I wanted, so hoping to see it and maybe say screw it and go for it. Good luck in your search too. For me it's hard because I'm being picky on the color (tired of grays/silvers/blacks), and 95% of the Lariat's i've seen are those colors. That's what a custom order was supposed to do - get you the color/trim/config you want. But ford can't seem to deliver reliably...

Found my "almost order" today at a local dealer and negotiating on price; put down a deposit. Fingers crossed.

People like me, who live on the West Coast, more often than not have to deal with rail then transport by truck to their Dealer.

My Bronco took 3 weeks, last year, but I ordered and bought that from a Midwest Dealer.

Any vehicle coming to my local Dealer takes at least 4 weeks, but their two recent f150 Raptors were 3 weeks. I have no idea what's going on with the RRaptor I ordered, since they entered my info wrong again and it's build week as supposedly last week (6/11).
