Yes, like others have said. They look the same, but maybe they expect the lights to be put elsewhere on the grill. I did consider that when I installed them in the holes that are meant for the running lights, but there really was no spot for three lights and be in the general area. You could do four lights in the spots next to the openings. That would definitely work.
Yea, I have seen other kits that look to fit pretty well. However, I never wanted the 4-light look, to me the correct Raptor Signature look has always been those 3 LED markers in the top of the grill. Like you I had to drill a pretty big hole from the back side to accommodate the plug but they look really good and they are very bright. I wanted to tuck them back into the opening a little more but decided that I would risk cutting too much grill, so they are where they are.

You can tell they were not made specifically for fitting into the Ranger Raptor grill ports.
I have no doubt that should some ever come out custom made for our Ranger Raptors I will switch mine again. I do overall like these better when lit, but not as hidden or clean looking as my first set when off. I plan to keep this new set on unless they cause some issues.
Right now I am only concerned about them staying put since they do stick out more and are more exposed to road debris, bugs, rocks, etc.

The mod isn't for the faint of heart.The whole time I was doing it I was thinking... this might be a waste of $120. I took some material off the light housing on my belt sander and tapered them down a bit by taking off more material towards the rear the housing.

I did slide them all the way in. They are a universal fit not made for the Ranger Raptor and it would be good if you listed them that way on your website. You will get Ranger Raptor business without returns if you design lights that really fit completely into the slots.
