Hill Start Assist Warning

Hi everyone,
I just picked up my new raptor on Monday, and joined the forum today. Unfortunately I'm making my first post on this section of the forum. I have been getting a warning on the display and also on the ford pass app that says " The Hill Start Assist System has detected a failure". It shows up every time i start the truck. the warning goes away after i press OK. I haven't had any issues while driving it.

Has anyone else seen this message? I plan on taking it to the dealer but I don't have time to do that until the end of next week.

Just in case anyone is interested, I got the issue resolved. The dealer determined that the gear shift module (MB3Z-7210-JG) was causing the fault code. They replaced it and everything is good now.

Thanks for posting this. I’m currently having this issue. What was the turn around time for it to be fixed? Any issues since then?

They took about 2 days to figure it out and order the module. It took another 2 days to receive it and 1 day to install and test. Overall I think they had it for 5 or 6 days.

No issues since.
