Got a Pre-Collision Assist Not Available light randomly while driving. Road was a bit wet and some flurries. After stopping for some food and restarting my truck the error went away for the rest of the day. The next day while using cruise control the error came back kicking me out of cruise control. Tried restarting the truck but the error stayed and wouldn't go away. Truck is currently at the dealership and with the last update is the tech is tracking down a short in the system and will need another day to troubleshoot. Will update when I hear back.

Let’s us know what you hear back!

Too many electrical grimlins. I’ve got a 500 mile all dirt route planned next year and a little worried on reliability or completing the route. Last summer my truck threw a 4x4 error when in 4 low deep into the trail away from civilization. Error code Didn’t register on truck and restart cleared problem.

At the Raptor Rally event 5 trucks all threw the same 4x4 malfunction errors including the truck I was driving! Instructor just had us turn truck off and open and close door 2 times.

These trucks are plagued with software issues and the instructors acted like it was commonplace. The truck I was driving also threw parking sensor error when we were in cloud of dust in the trail.

It’s normal to get that in the weather conditions you described. Sure could be a bigger issue but usually it’s not

I have experienced the same issue with snow, slush, and ice in Pennsylvania. Everything returns to normal once it all melts off. 2024 RR with 12K on the clock.

Tech found the loom behind the front bumper to be cut/damaged. Was told not covered under warranty due to my aftermarket led grill lights. The ones from F150 LED. Tried to explain that’s no where near the bumper which then they said it was some external damage so Ford wouldn’t even cover it with the warranty if they tried to submit it. Tech ended up stripping back a couple wires in the loom and repaired them. Kind of bummed and annoyed but paid the bill and got my truck back.

That almost looks like it could have been a rodent. I've already had a mouse tear off part of my battery insulation after only a month of ownership.

I've had same issues with mine. Even happened in clear weather. Haven't yet taken it in.

Looks like rodant damage to me. My friend had his Bronco towed twice in 2 months because squirrels had chewed the main wiring harness. $4,000.00 each time to fix.
