Thanks KGrow! We are glad to hear you liked the look of the lights! We think they look fantastic without modification or reshaping (as shown in the pics on our website etc.) You can trim them as another forum member did if that is your preference (we have a guide on our website showing this). Thanks again for your support and for being apart of the Ranger6G community!I did slide them all the way in. They are a universal fit not made for the Ranger Raptor and it would be good if you listed them that way on your website. You will get Ranger Raptor business without returns if you design lights that really fit completely into the slots.
I liked the looks of the lights, and they do look well made, but they just don't fit right.
Hey DesertBumAZ! We are grateful that we have had the opportunity to serve a lot of Ranger Raptor owners with our MKIII COB LED grill lights with fantastic feedback. The vast majority have/are loving them without any modifications and as installed/displayed on our website. We have only had a relative few with fitment issues/change desires so we made a guide on our website for those that do wish to modify them for even tighter fitment (similar to what fellow Ranger6G community member NASSTY did and displayed in this thread). Why dont you just sell a different set that fits the raptor that comes flush fitting from you guys?
Three is most common but four can look really good as well! It just comes down to a personal choice most of the time =)Personally 3 lights over 4. Though some people complain about them looking a bit weak versus the f150 in daylight.
I would gladly pay a premium price for some purpose-built lights that were a trapezoid shape that has the same forward angle as the Ranger Raptor pockets at the top of the grill (3). LED kits you offer, as well as competitors, are inexpensive to me and I imagine most RR owners agree. The vendor that does this kind of fitment will likely win over the masses. To date anything that is being offered for this location is a slim design that doesn't fill the pocket.Hey DesertBumAZ! We genuinely appreciate the feedback as we are always looking to improve but we are also proud to say we believe that we have the absolute best Ranger / Ranger Raptor grill lights available. Developing a shape change would increase the cost for all Ranger Raptor owners and with their feedback already so positive we opted to keep costs down for them. We hope that answers your question, please let us know how we can continue to serve!
Thanks Catalyst, we appreciate the feedback! We are proud that our current Raptor grill lights certainly stand out & shine brighter than any others.I would gladly pay a premium price for some purpose-built lights that were a trapezoid shape that has the same forward angle as the Ranger Raptor pockets at the top of the grill (3). I also inquired with your customer support team months ago about whether or not you would do an integrated ambient lighting replacement kit for the RR. We have ambient lighting in a single color and in FORScan there is the ability to enable full color controls, but we do not have the correct LEDs present to make this work. Another opportunity for a creative vendor to come up with a solution for.
I'd pay double what you ask for your current Gen3 offering without hesitation for a molded case that fills that pocket and angle of the opening, and maybe more if justified with R&D or tooling costs. What kind of price would you be happy paying for a trapezoid molded version of our COB grill lights?
not OP, but a trapezoidal shaped like that perfectly fit would be the 'go to' accessory for raptor rangers. many YouTube reviewers discuss it as a necessary and easy mod, but the right accessory isn't there yet. Thanks Catalyst, we appreciate the feedback! Great idea on ambient lighting, we do have an add on option that would give you full color control (and brighter lights as well as console lighting) but we understand having the factory controller would be cool also! Here is a pic of our current kit below

Same here, I purchased some from F150 leds for a Bronco because I had thought about cutting the back out of the recessed portion for the lights & putting the light behind the grill so nothing would show at all. I just don’t want to cut on my grill like that, not to mention that the grill is quite thick in that area as far as I can tell. Yes, if I could find a light that is made to fit there I would be more than glad to pay the price for them.I would happily pay double for a perfect fit light. The fit is the whole reason I haven’t purchased any yet.
Agreed, I would easily pay $200 to get quality lights that are perfect plug and play with perfect fitment.I would happily pay double for a perfect fit light. The fit is the whole reason I haven’t purchased any yet.
I hit up diode dynamics to make some, give it time and they will deliver.I would gladly pay a premium price for some purpose-built lights that were a trapezoid shape that has the same forward angle as the Ranger Raptor pockets at the top of the grill (3).
