First Moab Run in Ranger Raptor…for a Newb!

Finished the RR Assault Course on Monday (Which I can’t recommend enough! The staff were all amazing and it very informative.) Tuesday we hit the trails in Moab. She got a few battle scars, but overall I couldn’t be happier with how she did on day one.

Nice! We met at the Raptor school. I was the one that bought in colorado and was passing through back home to Seattle. Nice meeting you.

It was 20 hours for us. Broke up into two days. Not bad. The truck is comfortable.

Nice. I’m hitting Moab on Friday/Saturday after my course today/tomorrow. I’m carrying pretty close to max payload with all my gear so will probably be taking it easy this trip. Going to stay at Dead Horse State Park and then off to Zion before hitting the South Rim.

Out of curiosity, what route did you take to get there? UT6? How was the drive?

Yes, we were on six most of the way. Was a nice drive.

Not yet.... I did a package order of intake, intercooler, and piping, and suspension plug protectors. Looking forward to putting it all together

Thanks for sharing. You’ll def want to get some touch up paint for the wheels. That’ll be normal wear and tear. That’s one area on my vehicle I expect to get damage when off-roading. It’s unavoidable if you are pushing your rig or new to the activity. Here’s to many more great memories. ?
