Just got a quote for well over 1000$ to put in 2.25” perch collar lift on my 2024 Ranger Raptor. They said it’s a lengthy job and would need the day to do it (8hours or so). Does this sound right to anyone else? Seems like a steep price for a 270$ part to just raise the front end a couple inches.

That's quite expensive! I paid for 3 hours of shop labor including an alignment for the front only.

Maybe the Raptor has a totally different front suspension, but I had the dealer install a level kit on my '21 Ranger. Total cost parts and labor, around $500, with alignment.

Raptor has live valve suspension and is different i believe.

I charge 3 hours + alignment to install a pair of perch collars on Raptors. Even with the live valve suspension it is a simple install, 8 hours is wayyyy too steep.
Thanks for the info I had a feeling it was too much.

Was it a Ford dealer? They generally do not like to such things and many times will give you a "go away" quote and if you bite, then it is worth their time.

No it was a smaller shop not the dealership.

Just received a new quote from a performance shop. 3.5hours /665$ for install and 190$ for alignment. Seems a bit more realistic.

I had a shop quote me 4 hours of labor and $800. Had a different shop do it for $320 INCLUDING an alignment. It took them about 1 and 1/2 hours. Live valve shocks doesn’t change the process much. Just a couple of wires that need to be disconnected.
