Does anyone know if and how the Pro Trailer Assist can be activated via Forscan? Also, the side-view trailer cameras. That would be great. Thanks!
Side view, yes (see the "confirmed" tab of the spreadsheet). For Pro Trailer Assist, I've not tried as it seems like there are a lot of things involved and not sure if any of them become one of those "change once" parameters, so have been nervous to try.

Below is a comparison of without Advanced tow vs with advanced tow (both were Lariat FX4). the one on the left is without the advanced package. The ones in green I changed on my truck that enabled side views and that worked fine. When discussed on the trailer brake controller thread, someone posted the electrical diagrams which also seemed different between basic tow vs advanced tow package, so we may not have all the wiring/modules to do it. I was hoping to at least be able to activate the brake controller and buy the switch, but also have not tried.

I think it’s very different with mine. Here in Europe, we have different braking systems for small trailers. We also don’t have this brake control with these switches. Lariat isn’t available as an option here either.

XLT, Wildtrak, Wildtrak X, Tremor, and Raptor. It will probably be tricky to figure this out.

However, there is the trailer module as a control unit. I don’t know the exact name at the moment, as I can’t check right now.

I was out camping and fishing over the weekend so I got a chance to try out the settings for Trail Turn Assist for the Raptor...

Unfortunately it was only "sort of" successful using the codes in the spreadsheet. I changed my ABS module parameter 760-03-01 from F27C 764F to F27D 764F following the listing in the spreadsheet (which is based on the F150 Raptor). It immediately gave me a checksum error when I tried to write it but I pushed on regardless and it "seemed" to take.
In trying it out, it was a bit hit and miss. I put it into 4L and the initial press of the TTA button returned a message on the dash like "Feature not available" (or something to that effect). I pressed it again and it didn't pop up message but didn't seem turn on either. I think locked and unlocked the rear diff and then turned it on again and this time it stayed on. I went for a (very) short drive and I think it worked but then immediately turned off again.

My conclusion is that this is not the correct parameter or byte or value. I then just set everything back to what it was before (and received another checksum error and all kinds of stability control not working type messages - thought the car was still in 4L). Since then, all is back to normal.

I would first update to version 63 of ForScan that has the latest non Asbuilt info.

@Sequoia , do you have an updated sheet that has the detailed As Built tables? The one I have is missing a couple. Read below to see what I mean.

Go to the "ABS-Raptor" tab on the spreadsheet, then find 760-03-01. From there, you can decode what each parameter does.

Disclaimer - those tabs on the spreadsheet were snagged from F150 forum earlier thsis year and have yet to find a new one. I've found a few parameters that are not right on those tabs, but most of them are. The ABS tab especially is a bit iffy, esp in this case.

For example, 760-03-01 is missing some bits (your value above has xxxx xx-- but the spreadsheet only has xxxx -- , so it would be nice if we could find the most up to date version of this sheet. But at any rate, TTA is listed to be xxx* on the screen shot below. Take the value "C" from your "F27C 764F" reading, and decode the C below, which mentions "without Trail Turn Assist". Change the C to a D and that activates TTA. Sequoia above though said to change the 5 to a D though, so I'm not sure which is right....

Rewrite the 7 to D. It will look like this F27C-D64F
This would make sense considering my experience above.

It would be nice if we could get the same coding information in the spreadsheet from the Bronco range of vehicles rather than the F150 range as the Ranger and Bronco are on the same platform so are probably a much closer match than the F150.

Agreed on getting the Bronco ones. Just don't know where to get it. Maybe others on this forum are more resourceful. If anyone can find them, please let me know.

Also, BTW, the Checksum error is normal - the last two bits on every asbuilt data chunk are for the checksum and that's why they get displayed as -- rather than xx in this spreadsheet and most others you'll encounter. Forscan automatically recalculates those when you make any change to any other value. The Forscan forum has some wikis that explain a lot of how it all works.

Yeah. Same here. I already had activated everything around cross traffic alert in IPMA, IPC and APIM.
but still greyed out.
Any ideas?

What do you think needs to be activated specifically to turn the cameras on?

Unfortunately, I don’t quite understand what you mean.

I do have cameras. It’s just about the wide-angle camera being activated when there is cross traffic, meaning that the normal camera view switches to wide-angle.
