Hey all,
I’m putting Ford stock 17x8 wheels (I believe they are +55) on my Lariat. It has the 2.5” Rough Country level lift. Im going with BFG KO3s and I’m trying the get the biggest tire that stays flush with the fenders. NO POKE

I’ve gone through all the posts and I think it’s either 275/65/17 or 265/70/17. Any first hand experience and/or pictures would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

The only problem I have found with the 265/70/17 is The KO3 is LRE in that size. Huge weight/Ride difference from stock.

Yes. I have found out the KO3 in that size only comes in LRE (10 ply). I’ll have to go with KO2 in this size to get LRC (6 ply). Not what I wanted, but I don’t want to make my 2.3 push that extra weight. I’m just hoping the 265/70/17 will fill the wheel well with no poke. Thanks for the response.

8” rim with 55 may push the tire close to the knuckle.
I have265/70/17 17x8 with 42mm and it’s more poke (direction) than a 55 and they still sit 1” inside the lip with no poke
