16” wheels do not fit RR

I was at Braid USA the other day to test fit a few wheels and we tried a 16” Fullrace Dakar just for the heck of it. I’ve heard that the Ranger Raptor calipers are beefier than the standard Bronco hardware and this confirms it - the caliper was contacting the wheel at multiple points. It’s close, but ultimately 16s won’t fit on the RR.

We ended up putting an order in for a set of Braid Fullrace T Dakar 17x8 wheels
40mm offset 93.1mm hub. 6x139.7 in Anthracite with the Beadlock B System and a Knurled bead seat.

Will report back when they arrive in a few weeks!

Wow, I LOVE those wheels, but they are a bit pricey for me. Did you order a set of five? My issue with exotic wheels is replacing one or more a few years from now, due to damage. Yours may be unobtanium then. Which is why I use an OEM takeoff wheel.

Bravo for even thinking about 16s, I love small wheels and large sidewalls.

Probably safe to assume they'd fit on the standard Ranger, 16s fit the previous gen and looked great!

Been happy with them so far! Braid usually keeps their wheels in production for a long time, and if you need a custom replacement it only takes a few weeks. They are definitely a premium wheel. Will have to properly put them to the test at the dunes in the spring.
