Odd to have a build week during assembly plant shutdown?

Ive seen in several posts that the Michigan Assembly Plant (MAP) is shut down the first 2 weeks of March 2025. I have a Ranger Raptor on order with build week of 3/10/25 and a blend date of 3/14/25. Is that normal that they would schedule during down weeks?

Hello, I had a build date of 2/24 and they still haven't finished production on it. Wasn't aware of the MAP shutting down for the first 2 weeks of March.

I'm in the same boat. I was surprised to see my build taking so long. It had a scheduled delivery date of 3/14-3/20 (accoring to Ford and the dealer) but I'm not hopeful that it will arrive on time.

I can't speak for any shutdown, or lack thereof, but my ranger did indeed make progress in the last few days and it is now built. The status of "in production" actually began on either 2/19 or 2/24 but was updated on 3/1 then again on 3/5 (twice; the first was still "in production" and the second was "built"). Now another 3 or 4 weeks for delivery then I'll be overwhelmed with the new-vehicle chores like clay-bar, buffing, ceramic coating, undercoating, tire changes, etc

Thanks for sharing. I haven't found anything concrete that there is a shutdown but just second hand through forum posts and an older Youtube scheduling video from Long McArthur Ford saying that there may be a shutdown the first two weeks of March.

If you are getting the spray in bed liner or PPF it takes longer. That's what I'm waiting on.

There is another thread related to this topic and it appears that primarily Raptors that went into production the week of 2/24 (mine is one of them) are being held in production for some unknown reason.

I Know this is for raptors but my xlt has been in production since 2/28 and I just got a email today that it has been built hope you guys see the same email soon

Still not entirely sure if the assembly at the plant was idle the first two weeks of March but my build week was last week and blend date on 3/14. I have seen no updates and the modules (https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/) have not populated yet. Anyone else with blend dates the first two weeks of March seen any updates?
