Does anyone tow one of these with a Ranger?
I have fallen in love with one, but I see posts warning about excessive tongue weight.
I can remove 1 propane cylinder, and never tow with fresh tanks full.

I have a Rockwood GeoPro 20BHS and tow with my RR great. No issues whatsoever. If I’m not mistaken, the RR has a lower tow rating, too. Only modifications I have is rear airbags to level the truck out, and a shocker hitch (Here) to keep my passengers happy.

A quick search revealed the tongue weight as just under 400 pounds. The "wet" tongue weight will be about 500 pounds.

Tongue weight is usually based on the dry weight, but you can determine the percentage of tongue weight to dry weight and then apply that to the wet weight.

If you use a weight distribution hitch or heavy adjustable hitch, add that to your hitch weight.

For a Raptor, you'll be right at your maximum tongue weight capacity. You'll be within but near your maximum towing capacity.

Your most problematic number will be payload. What is it for your truck? After you subtract your hitch weight, your weight and your passengers, you're likely going to have a small number left. That number represents your kids, dog, ice chest, chairs, and everything else you plan to put on or in the truck.

That trailer is no biggie for a non Raptor, but might be a tad much otherwise.

I have a 24 XLT FX4, usually put nothing in the truck but a Solo Stove, or Champion 4K inverter.
