What are your thoughts? Do you think it’s good as is, or could it use pre muffler resonators?

It's hard to tell, but removing the tailpipe resonators and putting resonators pre-muffler would change the exhaust tone.

Adding down-pipes, like SPD has, would change the tone some more.

I've been holding off on anything exhaust because I'm hopefully going to be putting SPD down-pipes on it next year. (I blew my budget for this year already ?)

Kinda hoping AWE builds one for the gen 2 RR that works with the exhaust modes since they already have a good sounding Explorer ST exhaust, and their Raptor 3.5L AWE exhaust is one of the better Ive heard.

I was waiting for SPD to come out with a cat back, but after calling them twice, it didn’t seem like they had a reliable release date.

hey I sent you a PM. I saw you’re in Wenatchee. I’m just across the river if you wanna hear the truck in person.

I saw the PM when I got home from work that day but didn't get a reply out, sorry about that.

I actually live on the same side of the river, but I try to keep my location somewhat vague to minimize unwanted visitors.

I've followed this thread, so I'm keeping tabs on your progress, but I'm sure we'll bump into each other (if we haven't already), because how many Shelter Green Ranger Raptors are you going to see with bronze wheels and an ADD front bumper in our neck of the woods. :)

Haha there’s two ranger raptors on my street. You have any pics of the ADD bumper installed? Satisfied with the purchase?

I guess more people are becoming aware of them.

Mine was the second one sold in our area.

I'm satisfied with the purchase, but it took a bit to stomach the total cost, but I saved money by going with SPV for the lights and getting their plug-n-play wire harnesses for the up-fitter switches.

Cost aside, the two biggest gripes I have are you have to remove the grill to remove the skid-plate (their claim of 'easy to remove' is about 1/4 truth) and if a light happens to need adjustment the grill has to be removed also.

Outside of that, it totally changes the look of the truck and I like it.

It's not the best pic, but was taken the day I finally got everything buttoned up.

Sorry about the thread semi-hijack.

That’s what I was looking to ultimately do, if they don’t come out with a RR version of the Pro Bolt-on V2. The grill situation is a bummer. Is the powder coat holding color after getting a lot of sun?

It's only been on for about a month and I tend to ride my motorcycle more than driving when the weather is warm, but I have some Chemical guys Hydro blitz ceramic spray wax that I used put a couple coats on it.

I guess time will tell if it helps or not.

let me know if you want some more detailed pictures and/or measurements. I’m happy to help. Hoping to get some fly-by footy today.
Thanks mate, really appreciate it. This is something I definitely want to get done, so some more detailed pics and measurements would be a big help when you get a chance.

Great work. It’s the one thing I hate about my RR. It sounds horrible. Me personally I don’t want it louder I just want it better.

There was someone else on here that moved the resonators before the muffler and made it equal length and it sounded much better.

I wish someone made something like that. I would definitely buy it.

Installing additional resonators pre-muffler is my next project. Space is tight, however.

I am slowly making my laundry list for my new RR and budget things at the same time, it's like trying not to use your extra cash at the gun store.

You?
I can't stop buying cans since the wait times are better.
