I thought it was based on the manufactured date printed on one of the door sill stickers. You need a blend date to that shows an August date many are likely in transit of just landed on the lots.

That blend date is pretty much the same thing.I thought it was based on the manufactured date printed on one of the door sill stickers.
I got the regular ones. My seats were heated but not cooled. Im ok with it.Katzkins are nice! Did you go with air cooled/heated seats? My closest installer is in Kansas City, 3 hours drive plus they need the vehicle for a while so would also involve other logistics. Would be nice if vented seats were available on Lariat and Raptor. I have them on my F150 Lariat and use them.
I hear you. I get hung up on Manufacturers SUGGESTED Retail Price! I tend to bring the Ford proprietary invoice sheet with me and make suggestions.$58K for a RRaptor is a steal IMO. If you can swing it, just do it. You only live once.
I'm not so sure about that. The blend date for mine was like 6/9. The date on the sticker is 6/25. If the blend was definitive, I should have been part of the brake boost recall. And yet, it is not on list. That blend date is pretty much the same thing.
That’s true, you can plug any vin into the NHTSA website and see.I'm not so sure about that. The blend date for mine was like 6/9. The date on the sticker is 6/25. If the blend was definitive, I should have been part of the brake boost recall. And yet, it is not on list.
Personally, I would just pull the VIN and lookup the active recalls for it on NHTSA's site.
I do the same. Helps to discover those special order green window stickers. Sometimes it comes back as the vehicle is on the dealer website but VIN not yet available. That blend date is pretty much the same thing.
Just don't need to drive to the dealer and open the door to see it.
You can access the window stickers from the Dealers websites.
I use Auto Trader to do like a 300-mile radius search.
I then click on the ones that look like what I am wanting.
I then click on the link from the listing to the dealer's website.
I then look through the dealer's inventory and find the vehicle and click on window sticker to see the blend date.
Not exactly convienet but beats driving all over the countryside, and beats getting on the hook with every dealer in the area calling trying sell stuff they don't have or can't sell etc.
Mine is most definitely included in the airbag recall. But not the brake boost recall, which had a cut off date of the 6/20 IIRC.Everything I have read on this indicates 6/9 or 6/25 both are prior to 7/30 and should fall in the recall window. Are you sure yours isn’t in the recall?
Ah.Mine is most definitely included in the airbag recall. But not the brake boost recall, which had a cut off date of the 6/20 IIRC.
The Ranger Raptor for sure. The running boards are high up on the RR and at 6' 4" might cause you a little issue getting in and out. At 5"6"" I have no problem. I took delivery in mid June and have made several 250 plus mile trips and find it very comfortable, quite and enjoyable to drive. The AC is cold and the blower is the most powerful I've ever had! The power to pass slower vehicles is awesome. The performance cal is a must! My wife drove it and immediately order her one! I traded in a 2017 F150 Limited and thought I would miss it... NOT!! Your will enjoy the turn radius and smaller foot print for parking.Thanks. I agree.
