I got my front end done including the hood(18 inches) and it goes over the fenders too. Also got the A pillar's done including 18 inches on the roof and the full bumper. It is Xpel with a 10 year warranty and it only cost me $485 Canadian. Have had my last 3 trucks done by them.

That's not bad but I am interested in the sides of the truck since that's where you get most of the pinstripes

I swore I wouldn't get PPF again after it discolored / dirt got under the edge on my last Tacoma within 3years. I didn't use Xpel though, and might do that this time around. I got a quote for less coverage than you listed (no fender, no a-pillar, no roof coverage). The quote was for $875 usd, well over double what you paid.

I need to do some shopping around apparently

I watched a video and looked up reviews on this the other day after seeing the product shared. Apparently dirt and sand, etc can get under this pretty heavily. You have to constantly clean it out otherwise it will cause damage to your paint. Also several users said they had to tape down the edges before driving at speed (for instance, install at home and drive to the trails). Without tape, it could lift off from the wind.

Those seemed like pretty major issues to me, but yeah the pin stripe protection would be really good. It's surprisingly affordable too. Just not something I wanted to deal with the downsides on
