I just don’t think that’s correct, showing the projectors like that. On the color chooser it shows reflectors on the Lariat, consistent with the 2026 order guide.

Could be. But if you click on "compare models" it shows Headlamps - LED Projector with Dynamic Bending as being standard on the Lariat. Could be an error though because I just realized it shows reflector headlights on the Raptor. I think the configurator is just a mess right now and I'm betting when it gets sorted out the Lariat will loose the nice headlights. Fudge....

That things always had bugs. Back before the '24s were launching, people were asking the same questions about inconsistencies on visuals, and confusion about packages cancelling other things out, or saying they weren't included. This isn't just a Ford Problem though.

If the STX had the 2.7 as an option I would be very tempted. Those black steelies.....

I guess to each their own, I'm not just old school but also just old so I like the chrome. If you recall "It aint cool if your chrome don't shine" you'll know what I mean.
I can't stand all these BAP cars and trucks around these days, but again, that's just me.
I ordered one like this;

I originally was going to order the Lariat with Chrome Package but decided not to - I liked the Chrome grille but the wheels were just too much. And now that the CP includes Chrome door and tailgate handles I'm happy I didn't get it. But.....I have to say I'm pretty happy about the new Chrome center bars on the standard Lariat grille. It's the only chrome on the whole truck and it now separates the identical looking XLT front end.

Seriously, the Ranger with the 2.7 is the best mid-size truck available (in my biased opinion). Ford just needs to fix the valve body issues with their 10-speed transmission. Every time I get into the boost, it puts a smile on my face. I would love to have a RR but the 2.7 is pretty dang good.

I have had both, and prefer the FX4 2.7 in so many ways. I thought the RR was cool as hell, but I would never use for purposed intended and was better off with the extra tow and haul for the XLT. The 2.7 is nearly as quick as the 3.0 in the RR.

Didn't they address those valve body issues. I know the 2024's had a lot of issues but I don't seem to read too much more about it in the MY25, some here and there but nothing like 24's, no?

In fact I'd think I'd like it if that grey lower valence on the front was chrome and the tow hooks, chrome it all.

Mine has some hard shifts every once in a while but not too bad. I am keeping alert. Right now, I am at 12,000 miles and less than 1-year.
