Has anyone installed Amp research power strip vision running boards?

Has anyone installed Amp research power strip vision running boards? The instructions suck!! I have to tap 2 wires on the OBD port but the instructions show a different ODB port that has a 8mm screw holding it in. Mine (25 Lariat 2.7L)

just clips out and I do not have the two colored wires that I'm supposed to tap. Maybe the instructions are for an older ranger I don't know but I'm stuck now till I figure out which wires the tap. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about from the instructions.

Thanks, there was a code to scan in the box so that's what I was working with. Support sent me this correct manual today. I got the boards installed but the Bluetooth app isn't working so they're sending me a new obd plug.

I got them up and running. There were a few hiccups but I'm getting it all sorted out. If you're installing them yourself I can give you a run down. The instructions are very vague so it can get a little frustrating. Mine came with a 1.5" scrape on the driver's side board. I was offered a discount by American Trucks to keep them so I did. It's was a small touch-up so I'll live with it. The box wasn't damaged so I feel it was shipped that way. Also my Bluetooth controller didn't work out of the box so they had to send a replacement. Manufacturer support and service was very responsive so that's a plus. Although I did have to wait up week to get the replacement Bluetooth module.

Now that they are installed they are working very well. I have retractable running boards on my RAM and those are much slower. These deploy and retract fast! I wish they came out just 2-3" further so getting out I had more than my heel on them but it works. I just feel that's the whole point of the retractable boards. Since they aren't out while driving they should come out farther and lower. But I'm just nitpicking. I'm 6' with size 12 shoes for reference. Both the LED strip and the puck lights have a purple tint to them. You can't do anything about that with the pucks but the strip is rgb so just shift the color a little to the green and you get white light if that's what you want. I'll probably replace the pucks. The app is a little quirky but I haven't spent a lot of time with it yet so the jury's still out on that. I'll post some pics soon.
