How does it meet with the tailgate top? Does it butt up to the tape measure that runs along it? Does it fit under? Go over top?

Looking at this picture I am assuming it will go over and cover the tape measure portion.

How does the tailgate protector install?

Nm.. looks like it uses existing tailgate screws.

Yep, you got it right—it installs using the factory tailgate screws.

You’ll just need to remove the existing screws, align the protector with the tailgate, and then reinstall the screws to secure it in place.
We also include the necessary installation tool, but you can absolutely use your own if you prefer.

A step-by-step instruction guide is included as well to make the process straightforward.

Thanks for bringing this up — we pay close attention to these kinds of details as well.

Our mat is designed to fit flush with the tailgate for full coverage and protection. The top edge sits level, so it will cover the tape measure area, but it won’t interfere with normal tailgate use at all.

Does it fit the 24-26 Ranger Raptor?

Sorry about that, our tailgate proctor is custom fit for Ranger, even a little difference on the tailgate will effect the fitment. Even though they look pretty much the same.

probably the same plant as all the others. since we are a world market, i bet china or taiwan, which is fine since we probably don't actually have an american manufacturer for this kind of stuff. everything is made from stuff all over the world

You're right! Simply remove the Michelin mat and hose it down with water to wash away mud or grime in seconds, easy to clean

It’s a hard pass for me If it’s made in China. And since the OP did not answer my question it likely is China.

Last thing I want to do is send my money to the CCP. Truly despicable government.
