You know what I mean.
You buy a Ranger to get stuff done. Haul. Tow. Get dirty. Wash. Repeat. Then one day… something changes.
A drive. A breakdown. A random Tuesday with the tailgate down. Suddenly it’s not just a truck anymore. It’s yours.
That’s what this thread is about.🔎🔎

Drop a photo of your Ranger right now.🚙🚗
Doesn’t have to be pretty. Muddy is fine. Tailgate down, sunset, whatever.

And tell us:sun::sun::
What’s your ranger look like today?
Was that moment planned or just happened?
One reason you love your Ranger.

Road trips, camping fails, daily drives that became memories. Funny or serious. Just keep it real.
Let’s fill this thread with the reason we’re all here.:fistbump::fistbump:😁😁

Gotta disagree on this one, Ranger’s been a member of the family since day one

The Ranger feels refined, both driving and inside the cab.

My ranger is my daily driver. So most days it’s pretty mundane. This week there were brief moments of excitement with elk on the shoulder of the road. Sorry, no pictures, was too busy worrying if one of them was going to run in front of me and end up on my dash.
I like to “recharge” myself with a trip to the shooting range, a trip to the lake or a ride in the mountains.

Couldn’t agree more. These Rangers have a way of growing on you, huh? Love how yours looks out there on the open road!

My RR has never been nor will ever be a tool.
The 5 foot bed is mostly why. My RR is a fun vehicle like the Mustangs and Cougars and hemi AWD Magnum wagon or the Challenger were. Fun to drive. Lots of fun. Gets attention.
The 4 door cab I don't need. The tiny bed and small payload and towing ability are almost a joke - in truck terms. I've been a truck guy since 1976...
I love my Ranger Raptor, but when I need a truck to do truck stuff I have an F350. But that has never stopped being just a tool. It's just a truck. A pretty incredible truck.

But...the Ranger really is that perfect combination of transportation appliance/fun ride/versatile vehicle. It does most of what most people actually use a truck for, with no sacrifices .And the RR takes it up a few notches.

I would LOVE a raptor version of the Everest!

Mine's always been both a tool and a family vehicle and a muscle truck, but I would say my first trail was when it really became something unique, I love driving through the woods with my wife and son, they enjoy it too, the adventure of a new trail (not into hard core crawling, more scenic stuff):

Even though my wife has a really nice CX-50 Premium, a premium mid-sized SUV with an interior feels high end, a chassis that is always awesome in Mazda fashion and in our opinion, beautiful body lines that exude a nice blend of class and athleticism, on family trips she always wants us to take the Raptor!

So, it's not like she's driving an old beater or a cheap economy car or a soccer mom van, yet the bird of prey, is still the vehicle of choice on family trips, date nights, outings etc., here's the CX-50 for reference:

Great take on the Ranger Raptor! I love how you frame it as a fun ride first, not just a work truck. The balance of daily drivability and off-road capability is exactly what makes these trucks so special.

Wow, these photos is awesome! Love that you’re using the Raptor for family trips like this — those scenic trails sound like the best way to enjoy the truck. Bet your son has a blast every time!

Of course! My tripleAliners tailgate mat!
Also the modified exhaust is great.
And the effort sealing up the bed and rails, it stays bone dry in there.

That’s awesome to hear! 🎉 So glad the tailgate mat’s keeping your bed protected and dry. Love how you’ve got the whole setup dialed in. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely. That and putting all 455 HP to work drifting around farm fields wiht my son and grandpa! We also did a OHV park, my wife particularly liked drifting in the sand pit.

And Pit at OHV Park, the white Jeep in front was my friend's 2011 Sahar he flooded with mud water...lol:

There was an old 90's Cherokee on 40's that had trouble with the rock face to the right in the background (not clearance, traction), Raptor crawled right up it, not one slip, but I maxed out my approach to get the front tires on (literally had 1/2" clearance left).

Drifting through my uncle's corn field in southern WI in Dec 25', nothing but Baja mode and 100% throttle most of the time for 20+ minutes straight (no heat issues, especially in winter, oil never got past 237F):

We hit about 60 MPH on the larger stretches and drifted the corners at around 25~30 mph. Had full passenger load, no cargo in the bed, still on factory bead suckers at the time of those videos, but since upgraded to Method 705's:
