update: dealer says the FOX shocks are faulty, and are claiming a new set of shocks (all 4, somehow). apparently 1 of the shocks has a faulty seal, causing the creaking sound. the other 3 shocks have some other issues causing them to perform unexpectedly, resulting in wavy tire wear.

seems pretty odd to me for the shocks (all 4 of them for that matter) to have issues, plus the car is almost never really offroaded. for reference, the issue started appearing around 30k-32k kilometers.

That sounds like they have just decided to start changing parts. Lol
Well, you get new shocks!

did it fix the creak sound after they changed your suspension? i got mine looked up and test drove it with the master technician he hears the noise but said it unable to determine the component thats rattling

still waiting on the parts, they said it will take around 2months. so i effectively have to drive on bad shocks for at least 2 months. will update again after that, and yes, the head technician at my dealer essentially was not able to pinpoint what was the cause either.

My truck has been squeaking / creaking over washboard or rough roads. They pinpointed it to the right rear strut/shock, which I'm being told will be replaced under warranty. We'll see how long this process takes but I'll be thrilled if it fixes the problem. Been dealing with it for about a year, since the last dealer tried to blame my bed cover. /sigh

let me know how it goes for you. ive had hearing the sake noise for about 6 months now and they have change my shocks already for leaking and did you have the same squeaking noise like the OP has? i dont hear it when windows are up i only hear it when its down but its annoying cuz i drive 70% of the time windows down.

It turns out it was a loose body mount between the cab and the bed. The dealer ordered a new mount and bolt. For what it’s worth I could hear it with the windows up AND windows down.
