I’m racking my brain here. I’m having a hell of a time using a cutting wheel. It’s cutting but I’m having issues getting all 4 sides completely. Any pointers from those who have done it?

Not sure on the Raptor, but on my 2024 XLT the front crash bars are just held in by two bolts that screw in from the top.

I used a cutting wheel and once I couldn’t get any further switched to a scroll saw till I was as close as I could get and then knocked it off with a rubber mallet.

My mistake. I was talking about the rear one. I removed the piece in the picture, has 3 screws. I also removed the 1 large star bolt underneath screwed into the fender for a few mm more space and the front ones slid right out.

With a little wiggling and tugging I was able to just unbolt mine and slide them out. No need for cutting or anything.
