After a year of ownership today I decided to remove the "Sport" decals from my '24 Lariat. A very simple mod with a nice clean result.

When I brought home my ranger raptor, the first thing my wife said when she saw it was, "oh my god, that Raptor sticker has to go" LOL

I did the same! I think it looks way better without decals.

Reminds me of one of my favorite jokes told by Daniel Tosh, "No matter what the sticker on the back of your vehicle says, know that it reads 'I'm poor'" lol

Nice! I’ve considered taking my FX4 decals off….no noticeable fade after a year? Although black is likey a better colour than cactus grey for fade resistance

I pulled some off a white 24 RR and after cleaning it's not noticeable. Bought used so can't be certain sun exposure sealant maintenance etc. But it was well over 2 years.

If you know yours it factor it in. I was willing to live with or address the issue of it was heinous.

Thinking about taking my bed side Raptor stickers off my ‘25 RR (Shelter Green). If they weren’t so big especially since the bed is only 5’. Wish the stickers were 2/3 the size. No issue with the tailgate “Raptor” badge.

I once had a Sales Monkey argue with me when I told him to have the dealer advertising bits removed. He tried to tell me it was not something they could do, it was illegal for them to do so. His story changed quickly when I made it clear, if they do not remove the dealer name from the car then it was a no sale and I was leaving. Boom, the decals, stuck on bits and license plate frame were gone. Amazing isn't it?

In the good old days, maybe up to the late 70’s the dealer used to drill virgin paint in order to put their emblems on. If you were buying off the lot, it already had emblems. My dad refused a delivery of a 67-68 mustang because it had been drilled and it was on the order not to drill it.​

When I removed the Action car & truck decals from my cap, I was gunna remove the fx4, I removed the sport off of my 2008... but for some reason with the cap, I like the fx4 there. plus I added Simons cat to the gas door. and the fucker tipped his food bowl over. lolol

I removed decals from a cactus gray Ranger and there was zero issue or color difference. It wasn't quite a year (probably 8-9 mos) but I doubt you would have any noticeable fading.

I thought about removing my SPORT decals. Then I decided to have the RANGER letters on the tailgate designed to match. Black/white/black outline on clear so the body color shows through.

They came off real easy, and show no signs of any underlying fade or difference in the finish…

The carbonized grey RAPTOR inserts I like a lot because they are subtle but a big improvement over none. As far as the RANGER letters, had them on my '19 Lariat and IMO the tailgate looks kind of naked without them

Same! I bought the Tuffskinz tailgate letters with my Ford Rewards points. I’d be just as happy if I had paid real money for them! They look great!

that was one of the first things I did after getting my 24 lariat fx4 home, was removing the FX4 decal from the sides. seems like every truck on the road has some sort of decal in that location. I agree with you, looks clean, actually makes the truck look nicer
