I don't think this thread is too old to resurrect, but I'm torn between a BAKflip MX4 (G3?) and one of the manual retractable kind (that roll up internally inside the bed).

Can you suggest any things to think about that I' m missing? I know you lose a little bed interior space with the retractable but man, it's cool. I have a 2026 XLT w/o cargo management stuff

I would suggest going for the MX4 EZ Lift actually, it has upgraded weather seals and a paddle latch instead of cable. Have you seen the post we made about it? PM us for ordering if you are interested.

Simple, they are over 1/2 inch thinner/shorter.

The 24-25 are a different part number than the 26 model as the bed caps changed slightly. You might be able to maneuver it to work but it likely won't be seamless. PM me if you want to order up a 26 specific cover.
