My first thread was xlt versus lariat. This is the list of differences I came up with. Wonāt swear itās completely accurate.

Tennessee truck plant. It was going to be the cornerstone of the new electric vehicles coming out of blue oval city which also had the battery factory.
it has now pivoted to producing some sort of mid sized internal combustion engine truck in 2029 .
the battery factory is now owned by sk...
it will hold 10th gear down that low of an rpm but to shift accelerating, it is a higher rpm
i don't believe you ever really lug the engine as it will shift down automatically.
āāitās not like a manual transmission
It also depends on how much throttle you give.
at 60 mph I can get get...
Iāve had an odb tool hooked up and watched fuel consumption and at 60, 10th gear is the most efficient way to go.
occasionally I put sport mode into cruise, more to limit speed. Iāll have to look the next time Iām at 60 but I think it is in 8th at that speed?
I thought the xlt could be optioned with the same 10 way electrical adjustable driver and 8 way adjustable passenger seat?
Personally I thought the lariat should have full time 4x4, paddle shifters and some of the fancier raptor display options to jusrify the price premium.
I donāt think I...
āthe ranger is a global truck and I canāt see a ford bronco pickup and a ranger pickup, because of that.
I donāt see the Ranger nameplate going away. Maybe the super duty ranger becomes the f100, seems too close to the f150, but maybe ford has changed their tune on that. That has always been...
that would make sense to me. Yes I knew the hybrid maverick exists, but I could imagine a hybrid only new maverick with as you state, a lot of skunk works stuff. So more casting and molded parts, less fasteners, same updated assembly line technique.
thatās a lot of conjecture.
I think we do know something will be built in the Tennessee truck plant that will be an affordable midsize truck internal combustion engine.
I was thinking that would be a hybrid version of the euv truck.
not a F100
I guess we will see.
Iāve actually observed it downshift on grades, especially in sport mode. Same with coasting where sport mode will downshift earlier snd maintain a higher rpm.
i generally avoid cruise control in steep sections and curvy roads.
eco mode is the worst at downshifting.
it seems to me that...
If I were you I would skip the factory lug nuts. The two piece construction of the ford lug nuts is a known week point as they tend to swell, rust inside the jacket.
