Help me walk through these differences

I’m coming from a ‘23 2dr Bronco OBX with the 2.7l and 4.27 locking rear axle and HIGH package. Don’t get me wrong, I love this thing, but it’s not as practical as a truck.
So I’m looking at a ‘26 XLT with the 2.3, 301A equipment group, FX4 package, black appearance, advance tow & tech, convenience package, running boards…just about everything you can add to be close to a Lariat.
Now I also see a ‘25 Lariat, 2.3, FX4, tow package, blacked out.
What is the XLT lacking?

The ‘25 led headlights
Push button start
Garage door opener
Heated steering wheel
Black leather seats
Upgraded sound system
Some ambient lighting?

what is the cost/value of these things?

oh, the XLT is sand, lariat is Ruby.

The 25 Latiat will have projector headlights, a 12” gauge cluster, lit vanity mirrors on the visors, plus the things you mentioned. Probably a couple other things too.

Oh, and the cool upper glovebox compartment will be in the Lariat too.

I think the Xlt is a better value.

in my mind the lariat should have had full time 4x4 to support its premium

Say hello to upstate NY for me! I have a "loaded" 25 XLT - More than anything, I think you should go for a 2.7 (wasn't aware the Lariat came with the 2.3). The things I wish I had: 12 in gauge display and enhanced audio (I have upgraded my speakers - not bad). Also, I appreciate my rear side-steps to get up into the bed. My 70 pound Lab forced me to go with cloth seats - but he's worth it. After 35 years of full-size GMCs - I really enjoy driving this truck - "it's a beauty, Clark"! Have fun - there are no bad answers...WR
