So my raptor has been amazing, I love it. We had a buddy bring his raptor out on our recent Eagle lakes run and I was impressed. I brought my jeep, but I might have to bring my raptor next time. Check out the raptor recap at the end of the video

I put some new lights on the raptor and made my own bumper brackets , used some nut serts on the front bumper to hold the brackets that I made on. Turned out really good and did not cost much, that was cool. Just a fun little DIY project.

I just had the crazy random shift into BAJA mode into 4H and then 4L while driving, shot me hard left and almost crashed the vehicle. called dealer, called ford and filing a complaint and filed a NHTSA complaint, if that happened at 70mph I would have been dead with how hard it shot me to the driver side when it instantly shifted into 4h then 4L. super scary stuff.

its super concerning, since if that 4wd shift into Baja mode happened at freeway speeds, and shot me over left or right like it did, I don't think I would have made it, it would have been all bad. I hope they figure this out. The thread on here about this issue is not making me feel ay better since many guys said the dealer couldn't fix it.

OK so mine has been at the dealer about a month.

they finally looked at it, no codes. They need to recreate it, even though ive fully explained to them the issue and they have seen this thread, and they checked the part number and its a new number for the ATCM indicating the old ones are bad.


they did tell me this : The ATCM needs to throw a code : U2002 for them to get it through warranty, or the tech has to have the issue happen to them while driving. I told them to bang the center console while driving it since one guy on here mentioned that might get it to do it.

They also said that when its these two things at once : Faulty ATCM shifting on its own and the E brake not working, often someone spilled a drink on the center console.


they keep insisting that maybe I hit the shifter, im like im certain my hands where on the wheel when it happened, and it tried to shift into 4L after first shifting into 4H Baja, I did not do all that on my own without knowing I did it while my hands were on the wheel.
