I put a 2.5" level on mine and am running 275/70r17 on a +25 offset wheel. They fit very well, but clearance at full lock is very tight on the front wheels. Im glad I didn't go with 285 as I'm not sure they would have fit without rubbing or trimming.
At stock offset you would have a bit more...
Ive mentioned this project to F150 LEDs a few times as well. Hopefully someone comes out with something. In the meantime, mine are tinted with overlays and Ive been happy enough with them.
Got them in for the second time and they work well. Haven't tried them in the dark yet, but the lights seem quite bright.
They are supposed to toggle between low and high with two presses of the fog button, but mine don't do that. They just go on and off. That feature sounded kind of finnicky...
Shoot! That’s totally it! I had the wheel turned all the way to make space for the install.
Ahhhhhhhh. I uninstalled them already. I’m a moron. At least I didn’t screw up anything bad.
I tried installing the signature lux fog lights today. Got them in but when I tried to test them the left light turns on with the headlights and won’t turn off with the headlights on. The right light seems to work fine.
After trying to troubleshoot I then reinstalled the OEM fog light and...
Here’s some pics of the inside mounting (sorrry for the mud - they were doing their job!). As an update to some of my earlier posts - the clips work fine on the front flaps, but they aren’t long enough for the back flaps. The wheel trim in front is slightly smaller than in back. I mounted...
Didn't realize it offered that functionality. Im often running, surfing, kitesurfing, etc... and prefer not to bring a phone or keys (but I do wear my watch). This is really handy for those situations, particularly if it lets me leave the keys locked in the truck. Just need to avoid running...
Im not with the vehicle now, so I can't post pictures. I think you need 8 extra clips. RekGen sent them to me separately after I asked. RIght now I have them installed without those clamps but they would make the install a lot easier.
I can post some this weekend. If you are ordering them, have RekGen send you additional U clip brackets because you will need them.
Its a bit of a DIY project, but the result is very solid.
Noco Battery Jumper
Air compressor
bottle jack with extensions
gloves
folding shovel
traction boards
Multi screwdriver
Multi tool
Lots of straps and bungees for tie downs
My sense is that there is definitely demand for a universal mount in that location but people are going to mount a lot of different things there with different bolt patterns. If there was a simple plate, then users could drill their specific holes wherever applicable. Just need to maximize the...
Can you build it so that it recesses into the cavity there? Id like to use something like this for a powered subwoofer, but it needs the space from the recess.
I got the Ausmotion mount and it fits perfectly in the NA Ranger. Haven’t installed the compressor yet. I’m leaning towards the ARB brushless single. Compared the mount holes and it seems like it will line up without an issue but I don’t think that any of the aftermarket harnesses will work...
I bought these 12” ones and they look great but never ended up putting them on my truck. If you want them send me a DM. All the other stuff in that post is sold.

for what its worth, im also in the northeast and the options available to me are the same ones that you listed. I dont have experience with any of them, but I am going to go with NH oil partially due to researching the product and partially due to confidence with the garage that will apply it...
Maybe I misunderstood the setup you are thinking of, but I just used a positap and linked it to the drl wire on my left headlight. Super simple. Ran the wires under the plastic veilance under the hood. If you are running three or four lights, there is a lot of extra wire in the F150LEDs...
I wired mine the same way and hadn't noticed that, but I will double check and get back to you. If it dims, it doesn't dim much. With this wiring, I DO recommend turning off the wink with forscan though otherwise the drl will go off with your turn signal.
